There’re only a few if any industries are growing at a more constant pace in the U.S.A. than marijuana. But, the questions arise, is medical marijuana legal? Are there any laws that control the selling and consumption of marijuana? How are rules and regulations changing access to Cannabis for medical purposes?
Though the federal government has always emphasized on working towards the eventual legalization of marijuana, the prominence of the medical marijuana industry has incredibly been vague. Some of the vagueness was alleviated in the year 2016. As a result, the new Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations (“ACMPR”) was formed with the prime goal of enhancing access to the medical marijuana. These new regulations are the replacement of the previous MMPR (Marijuana for Medical Purposes Regulations).
